To begin with, Roberta has an almost sentimental relationship with airplanes. The longer the flight, the more she relaxes – probably the only person in the world who considers a 12-hour intercontinental flight a meditation session! Her favorite destinations? Metropolises of architectural contrasts like London and New York, where she can walk admiring a futuristic skyscraper next to a Victorian building, just as she loves combining tradition and modernity in her weddings.
An unexpected confession: Roberta maintains that visiting art exhibitions slightly “tipsy” is a transcendental experience. “Contemporary art makes much more sense after a glass of prosecco,” she admits with a knowing smile.
Her home hides an earring collection that would make any jewelry store pale, but also a library dedicated exclusively to books on flowers and gardens, which she leafs through for inspiration while sipping her favorite herbal tea.
Despite her work often leading her to taste gourmet delicacies, Roberta has an irrepressible passion for pizza – even after having already dined. “There’s always room for a margherita,” is her unofficial motto, followed by the alibi: “But I do sports every day, so we’re even!”
Flea markets are her second home: she’s capable of discovering bizarre objects that, mysteriously, always end up becoming trendy decorative elements in the following season’s weddings. Her team knows that when Roberta returns from a trip with a suitcase full of “strange finds,” they’ll soon find themselves integrating them into some innovative wedding arrangement.
And finally, a fact that explains much of her success: Roberta approaches wedding organization with the same enthusiasm with which she explores a tasting menu around the world. She’s willing to try foods of every type as long as they don’t emit suspicious odors – a perfect metaphor for her wedding planning approach: bold and experimental, but always respecting good taste and elegance.
