Configurazione strutturale: Il complesso di Villa Pizzo comprende l'edificio padronale, costituito da un semplice corpo di fabbrica a pianta rettangolare su due piani, alcuni edifici di pertinenza, le serre (realizzate nei primi anni del XX secolo), il mausoleo Volpi Bassani ed il vasto parco. Il prospetto sul lago è caratterizzato dalla grande darsena costruita nel XIX secolo con la sovrastante terrazza.

One of the most prestigious residences on Lake Como, with the largest lakefront garden, located in an exceptional vantage point next to Villa d'Este. Visitors will be able to admire the villa's fully furnished interiors, landscaped terraces and nymphaeums as desired and created in the early 19th century by Archduke Rainier of Habsburg.

In addition, you will be able to stroll along the romantic avenues by the lake, among ancient structures, prestigious botanical species, historic docks and breathtaking views of a unique landscape. The visit will be enriched with storytelling and trivia, and you will be able to relive environments used for movie scenes, VIP weddings and world-class videos.

Pros and cons of the location

I fell in love with Villa Pizzo at first glance both for the location but especially for the greenhouses filled with lemons and citrus trees.

The presence of Lake Como is omnipresent and every corner harmonizes with the garden and the water.

The indoor part is smaller than the outdoor part and therefore we recommend the installation of a cristal tent for dinner time.

I also recommend to be followed carefully by an organizer to manage all the many moments and to make sure that every single corner is used very well.

Wedding style in this Villa.

In this Villa I find the choice of using the color blue to be very apt, the Lake and the sky are immense and the blue of the flowers further enhances them so it is easy to create a play of chromatic reflections. The Villa is rich in blooms and plants so the least color is blue which tends to stand out from the rest of the landscape. Of course, to use blue in an elegant way one must always use the right tones and essences of flowers without lapsing into pacchianism.
