Location

This mansion stands in the residential area of Stresa, at the end of a tree-lined avenue. Owned by the De Angeli Frua family associated with the textile industry.

A few historical notes

The construction of the Villa dates back to 1912 and is said to have been a gift from Giuseppe Frua to his wife, grandmother of the present owner.

Event Location

Today, architect Elisa Ferrari has given the Villa a modern and contemporary flair, integrating contemporary design pieces with a traditional style from the early 1900s.

Since historic times the Villa was a meeting place for industrialists and a site of relaxation for Milanese socialites.

Even today, the Villa with its glamorous appearance welcomes not only weddings but also many social and cultural events.

Pros and cons of the location

I feel at home at Villa Frua because I saw it come into being and contributed in a small way to its rise by working with Elisa.

When I walk through the main gate a sense of belonging and relaxation pervades me and perhaps that is why I love working here.

Every corner is carefully and thoughtfully designed.

The fountain at the entrance that allows me to create a corner for welcoming guests, two locations under the canopies of the century-old trees for civil or symbolic ceremonies, and many spaces for the rest of the reception.

There are no indoor or outdoor spaces that are not perfect.

The only flaw is if we want to call it that the little view of the Lake.

La villa è anche B&B di lusso quindi ha dotato i suoi ambienti di ogni confort e dettaglio al passo con i tempi.
